Pedraforca is a mountain in the Pyrenees range, located in the district of Berguedà. The mountain’s unique form, along with the fact that it is not visibly connected to any other adjacent mountains, has made it one of the most famous mountains in the province of Catalonia, Spain.
Located within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park (41 342 ha), Pedraforca has an area of 1750,7 ha. It’s highest peak is Pollegó Superior (2506m).
Pedraforca is, along with the mountains of Montserrat and Canigó, one of the emblematic mountains of the Catalans.
